June 2012 | Shortlisted for the Threadneedle Exhibition
This painting is called "Fancy a Paddle?" and made it through first selection for the Threadneedle Prize, Mall Galleries, London. It was duly dispatched to the Gallery but was, unfortunately not hung. Never mind, I'll try again next year. Now, it is on view at the Ferini Gallery, Pakefield, Lowestoft until 25th July, after which, if not sold, it will be on view at the Pond Gallery Snape Maltings for a further two weeks.
You will see, it is a return to my subject of the sea - much more gentle, this time and inviting.........The painting itself is oils on canvas and is for sale. I will be getting Giclee prints on canvas made of it, which will, of course be a lot more affordable - price unknown at this present stage.
Regards to all,
